Cricket Frenzy.
I am not a very big cricket fan but India's tour of pakistan has cast its magic over me also.The whole trip has had more tension,twists n turns than a bollywood potboiler.Every little detail about the players ,the matches,their likes,dislikes has been written about and discussed to no end.There are some things that compelled me to write this article.Although it is tru that india performed outstandingly in the tests and the one-dayers ,i cant help feel that maybe they would not be able to repeat this magic whe pakistan tour india.Somehow the most inspirational factor i believe that has been encouraging a good performance from the indian cricketers is that they were creating history in pakistan.One thing that really stood out in the series has been the team work and the fact that the team did not depend on sachin alone which was not the case before.One more thing that this match has taught us is that there are players like asif kamal who was battling on despite a n elbow injury and then there were players like shoib akhtar who retired hurt when the teanm needed him the most. Overall it has been a very satisfying victory and one that should alwayds inspire the future of this country. |

I am a great fan of footbal. But this cricket series has attracted people from all corners to closely feel the acomplishment of Indian Team.
I feel this was great team effort, Indian team literely pulverized Pakistan's team.
My another gutfeel about Pakistan loss is that they focussed too much on Sachin. Whether it was Shoaib or Hamid or any Pak team member, they seem to have only one motive, to tame Sachin. Because of that they lost focuss on Indian team and Pakis became individualistic in approach.
Any way a great game, once again hats off to India.

The indian players have showed their mettle by giving a world class performance and needless to say that it has booted their confidence manyfolds. Now they are ready to confront any cricket team of the world. My gutfeel is that when Pakistani players come to India for a return tour maybe in the year end, the Indian cricket team will repeat the same magic on their homeground. What do you feel?
