A high level drama is going on at present in the Indian political scenario. The turn of events resembles a suspense thriller where we can only guess who would be the next Prime Minister. A lot of emotions overflowed yesterday when Sonia Gandhi expressed that she wanted to relinquish the role of the PM of India and the Congress MP’s were urging her to reconsider her decision.
Whether she respects the people’s mandate or sticks to her decision, we will soon come to know. She had once said in an interview with Hindustan Times, that she is in the politics out of duty and not out of ambition. And now the price does not matter to her but what matters is that she has won the battle.
There is one related question that keeps popping up in my head. I have been often puzzled by the thought that whether the end justifies the means or it is the methods used for attaining that end that matter more. What do you value more in your life and why? Express your gut feel without any inhibitions. |

What I know about Indian democracy is that it is bigdest after US.
Was it a joke Sonia played with Indian people. First you lead the people and ask them to change governmet, then you go back stating that my inner voice doesnot allow.
My say is that she should lead the party and come up as true leader.

An amazing drama has happened in the Indian political scenario...relating it to the editor's question i would say that in my opinion the end and the means are both important...
For example, if a person studies hard for the examinations and does not get the desired result then all the hard work goes down the drain...similarly if a person cheats during the examination and gets good marks then the result is not worth...What do you say guys... |
