Hi Guys

Please read this & then answer the poll. I & garcons have been friends from last 2.5 years. We both came to Australia in the same uni, doing the same course & in the same flight, & were room mates for about 9 months.

he thinks that he will be well off in India rather than here. so he is going back for good. According to me he should stay, i know social life is there but he shouldn't go may be for atleast next couplr of years & should think more on his career.

He is going back in 2 months or so, now i & all his friends here claim that he will be back in 6months. By the way he is going back & joining his family business. Well i have expirenced both the India & Aus, as to how people work, & he has just worked in Aus & donnot know much about working in india.

I feel he'll be back within 6 months

Tell me what you guys feel.

When i first read the subject, I was thinking you might have done some kind of comparison between the 2 countries, and you might have a poll to ask opinions as to which is a better country, but i was shocked to see the poll

I'm glad you're thinking so much and you want me to stay here, but not possible bro. None of these guys in here really know me, so its a pretty odd question what you've asked

Also, i understand that I have worked in Australia & not in India, but i firmly believe home is where the heart is, and my heart is for sure not in Australia. You know how obsessed I am with bombay, and i dont have to go back and hunt for a decent job, instead just join dad in his business. And, I'm not thinking only from the social aspect, its an overall decision.

Off note: Your poll reminded me of a movie i saw last night. 40 days & 40 nights, where in this person takes a vow not to have sex for 40 days& 40 nights, and his vow is up on the internet and people start betting whether he would break his vow or no

i have heard 'my heart is in india' crap fo so long, & you'll say it till the day you go. Well i am trying to get something interesting for the forum. donnot think that i want you to stay, melbourne will be peacefull without you.

Well any ways i thought, i might keep the topic name 'garcons & me' then i thought wouldn't attract many users.

When i read the title of this post, i thought that the post refers to some cricket match between India and Australia. Just kidding But this is an interesting initiative dsha, i must say...

I can't participate in the poll, because i don't know garcons that much so as to predict his behaviour.

From what i can gather from garcons posts, he is much more interested in his father's business at bombay, than living at Australia. So i answered the question as 'NO'.
