Its time for astronomers to celebrate! After seven years of space travel Cassini has finally placed itself into the Saturn’s orbit. It has successfully crossed all the huge Saturn rings that are made of ice and rock particles. The pictures of these rings will become available from tomorrow. Later this year it will also land on Titan, which is the largest of Saturn’s 31 moons.
I wud say that this kind of venture into the space is ethical...What do you feel? |

We had discussed whether space tourism is ethical in a different thread. Refer http://gutfeel.com/forum/about23.html
My gutfeel is that the Cassini space probe of saturn is ethical and its success dawns a new era in the space exploration. I am also looking forward to viewing some pics for infamous (In Hindu mythology, saturn is believed to have an evil eye) saturn. The largest moon of Saturn, Titan is supposed to have an atmosphere and good that we will also learn more about it. |
