Do you spell everything right?

I used to follow up on the Spelling competition which is held in US every year on television for the fact that the participants tried their luck at the toughest of words and came out with flying colours.

Though on the request of some Gutfeel members, i had installed the Spellcheck, but i feel that some people have the knack of spelling every word right.

Thus was tempted to share this piece of news with ya all.

Twelve Indian American students between 9-14 years of age have entered the championship rounds of the prestigious 78th Annual Scripps National Spelling Bee competition in Houston in the US.

They are among the 51 contestants who will take part in the final rounds in Washington today.

The champion gets $28,000 in cash, scholarships and bonds, plus books from Encyclopedia Britannica.

Indian American children have won in 1985, 1988, 1999, 2000, 2002 and 2003.

Do you have a knack of spelling things correctly? I feel it is an art rather than just cramming the right words. Do share your gutfeel on the issue...

i agree that some people do spell everything correctly...but in my case...in day to day situations it depends on how important the task is..so if i have to write a formal letter then things have to be correct..otherwise if i am just jotting down some points for my own reference later, then i don't bother much about spellings.
