| Just watching Sky News now saying some Italian media groups are reporting he has died. No official confirmation yet but it's not looking good for him. |

CNN.com has retracted the breaking news. May be we reacted too soon. Sky now reporting his "heart and brain are still functioning".
It seems that, The media is playing with fire. This news should be treated and handled in a respectable manner. |

I don't see it on CNN that it's an official news. Whats being reported is that he is not dead but he has no hope.
It seems that an Italian reporter saw the flat ECG and misunderstood for his death. It's most likely that his heart could have stopped and doctors would have restarted it.
A quick question though, who would be next Pope, have they identified any one. |

| The latest news is that Pope Benedict XVI is the new Pope...He said he wanted to reach out to other faiths and believers and non-believers alike as he was installed in a Mass in St. Peter's Square on Sunday. |
