India has lost yet another match in the Pepsi series and it seems that nothing is happening right for the Indian Cricket team. To top it all, Indian captain Suarav Ganguly has been banned for the forthcoming six matches due to dismal performance. He is not in form for quite some time, but whatever it may be he does prove to be a good captain and uses his gutfeel quite often while taking decisions at the spur of the moment. And sometimes such decision do work wonders for the Indian team.
At the crucial point in the series when the Pakis have all the motivation and josh, the ICC decision to ban Ganguly has come as a bolt from the blue. I think it has further weakened the team spirit, in the middle of the series. It would have been better if he was given some rest after the series instead of complicating situations in between.
What is your say on the issue...Speak out your mind |
