Here are some “Bushisms”, which lead me to ponder whether Mr. Bush really went to Harvard. So all those who are glad that he is back for four years, do go through these:

“I mean, these good folk are revolutionizing how businesses conduct their business. And like them, I am very optimistic about our position in the world and about its influence on the United States. We’re concerned about the short-term economic news, about long term I’m optimistic. And so, I hope investors, you know – secondly I hope investors hold investments for periods of time – that I’ve always found the best investments are those that you salt away based on economics.” January 4, 2001
“Natural gas is hemispheric. I like to call it hemispheric in nature because it is a product that we can find in our neighbourhoods.” December 20,200

“What I’m against is quotas. I’m against hard quotas, quotas they basically delineate based upon whatever. However they delineate, quotas, I think vulcanize society. So I don’t know how that fits into what everybody else is saying, their relative positions, but that’s my position.” January 21, 2000
“I know the human being and fish can coexist peacefully.” September 29, 2000
“More and more of our imports come from overseas.” September 25, 2000
“It’s clearly in the budget. It’s got a lot of numbers in it.” May 5, 2000
“King Abdullah of Jordan, the King of Morocco, I mean, there’s a series of places –Qatar, Oman-I mean, places that are developing-Bahrain-they’re all developing the habits of free societies.” January 29, 2004
“The ambassador and the general were briefing me on the-the vast majority of Iraqis want to live in a peaceful, free world. And we will find these people and we will bring them to justice.” October 27, 200
“I think war is a dangerous place.” May 7, 2003

“There’s an old saying in Tennessee-I know it’s in Texas, probably in Tennessee-that says, fool me once, shame on-shame on you. Fool me- you can’t get fooled again.” September 17, 2002
“President Musharraf, he’s still tight with us on the war against terror, and that’s what I appreciate. He’s a-he understands that we’ve got to keep al-Qaida on the run, and that by keeping him on the run, it’s more likely we will bring him to justice.” August 22, 2002 |
