This is a moral/ethical dilemma that was once actually used as part of a job
application.

See if you can figure it out without looking at the answer at the
bottom.

You are driving along in your car on a wild, stormy night. You pass by
a
bus stop, and you see three people waiting for the bus:

1. An old lady who looks as if she is about to die.
2. An old friend who once saved your life.
3. The perfect man (or) woman you have been dreaming about.

Which one would you choose to offer a ride to, knowing that there could
only be one passenger in your car? Think before you continue reading.

You could pick up the old lady, because she is going to die, and thus
you should save her first; or you could take the old friend because he once
saved your life, and this would be the perfect chance to pay him back.
However, you may never be able to find your perfect dream lover again.

The candidate who was hired (out of 200 applicants) had no trouble
coming up with his answer.

WHAT DID HE SAY?

- - - - - - - - Don't peek until you've given an answer....

He simply answered: "I would give the car keys to my old friend, and
let
him take the lady to the hospital. I would stay behind and wait for the
bus
with the woman of my dreams."

Sometimes, we gain more if we are able to give up our stubborn thought
limitations.

Never forget to "Think Outside of the Box."

An interesting question, and one which I should have thought more about before answering -- which means I got the plippin' thing wrong <lol>. Still, my reasoning was that I already have the gal of my dreams, and all my old friends are either hopless drunks or zoinked-out hippies, which means I wouldn't even let them near the Bently, let alone drive it. So I took the lady to the hospital -- at the standard taxi fare, of course <lol>.

Agree RO, my Mustang is my love and dream. I wont let any one touch that LOL. Razz

For sure, I will take old lady in the car and leave the old friend and so called dream together. By doing so I have paid back my old friend.

Being really honest: I thought of the exact answer that is mentioned, but I'm sure i'm saying it now, and if such a situation were really to happen, i would be selfish & take my dream girl with me in the car Wink

Who isnt selfish? Atleast I'm being honest and saying "yes, this is exactly what I would do". Most of us would say "Oh, i'd help the lady for sure" but who would really do that dsha?

And I'm not sure I would for sure go with the girl, you see the frame of mind really matters, and whatever comes to my head at that time, shall be done Wink

Laslty, I'm not a selfish byatch, but instead life's a byatch and we all should ride it well. Twisted Evil
