Hi everyone,

The fantastic test series win by India over Pakistan by an innings and 131 runs at Rawalpindi has created history. The golden moment when Pakistani batsman Kaneria was caught by Ganguly sealed the fate of Pakistani side. Everyone in the Indian side was at the top of the world.

With this win, the Indian captain Saurabh Ganguly becomes the first test captain of India with most wins. He oozed confidence when he said ‘We knew we would win this match’ adding that it’s a great feeling to beat Pakistan. He was extremely happy and so was Indian coach John Wright. He was elated to the hilt and expressed it by hugging everyone. One can't deny John Wright's contribution as he has changed the face of Indian cricket with his approach and is proving to be indispensable. After all, it was an overseas win after eleven years.

The emotions were overflowing in the dressing room and so was the bottle of champagne. Yuvraj expressed his happiness by doing a bit of bhangra dance. Another good thing to watch were the handycams in the hands of a couple of players. The team was behaving as a family and capturing moments important to them.

The Pakistani captain Inzamam broadly blamed the injuries to his players for their bad performance. But it was a true delight to see Shoaib Akthar biting his nails in desparation.

Having said all this, I would definitely add that the Pakistani cricket board has performed their duties pretty well. Above all, the Pakistanis in general showed the right spirit. This tour had political connotations and as it has gone without an incident it will surely impact Indo-Pak relations for the good.

For me, today is a great day as i had been spending my attention on cricket for long. In the end, it paid off.

Last but not the least, I would say that the Indian team as a whole has stood the pressure on the Pakistani soil and has shown enough mental toughness to be called world class. What is your gut feel?

Cheers,
