Does Bush have enough tactical and strategic thinking?

We have elections fast approaching and here is what I am interested to know and discuss about Bush capacities as leader.

I personally feel that whatever Bush has done is horrible and absurd. Be it the War in Iraq to overthrow Saddam, couldn't we have just kidnapped Saddam thereby overthrowing the regime. The point is by this act Bush has just overturned the hornets nest of Islamic reactionary radicalism which to me is a big mistake.

Similarly, his adventure with Bin Laden has been a debacle.

What I feel is instead of going after Saddam, Bush should have focused over Bin Laden. By going after Saddam and Bin Laden, Bush has infact divided his political, diplomatic and military resources.

This is a common sense to me, are republicans so dumb?

So guys, what is your gutfeel on this?

The leadership style of Bush is indeed questionable and that is the reason why his chances for the second term seem so bleak...

I think the problem wit him was that he wanted to control everything but ended up controlling none
